I don’t know the answers to the event questions, but in terms of the vibe, I found it to be a mix of school groups (I believe high school groups have their own rooms, but they’ll be in the common spaces) and international and domestic travelers of all ages who tend to be on the “clean cut” side (as distinct from a party hostel crowd).
